Online applications for the 2023-24 school year will begin Monday, February 6, and continue through Friday, April 28, 2023, ending at 4:00 p.m.  Applications will be accepted on DPI's website during this time only.  

Under certain exceptions, a parent can apply for open enrollment throughout the school year using the Alternative Open Enrollment application.  Click the link to learn more. 

Wisconsin's inter-district public school open enrollment program allows parents to apply for their children to attend a school district other than the one in which they live.  Applications may be submitted to up to three nonresident school districts.  There is no tuition cost to parents for participation in open enrollment.  Parents of open enrolled pupils may be charged the same fees as resident pupils.
